Mexican Retirement Community – Round trip to Cozumel Island

Cozumel real estate is unique on the island. Although this may give real estate buyers some concerns about transportation to and from the island, the transportation is convenient and the price is reasonable. Equally important, the island itself provides a full range of services, conveniences and products that make it the preferred choice for Mexican retirement communities.

Cozumel International Airport is located on an island and provides most of the transportation services for retirees and other residents. For example, in the last week of June 2010, the airport carried out 37 international flights five times a day, for a total of 5,550 passengers, including tourists and residents of the island. Some destinations include Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, Dallas, Charlotte and Toronto. These are just a few of the locations that offer direct flights. Direct flights to many parts of North America cost about $600, while transit flights cost as little as $400.

You can also fly to most parts of Mexico and many other international locations at reasonable prices. Cheap flights to nearby Cancun and Merida are also easy. If you happen to be on the mainland, more flight options from Cancun offer you a reasonably priced choice.

Flight is not the only way to get in and out of the island. On most days, ferries to Playa del Carmen run once an hour for more than $10 [one way]. The taxis, car rentals and coaches in Playa del Carmen are relatively low-priced and can travel on the mainland of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico.

Although the transportation to and from the island is very convenient, Cozumel itself provides a complete service for the retirement community. In fact, people who like boats can take advantage of the dock service and enjoy the pleasure of sailing to the main mainland, even long-distance travel. There are also golf courses on Cozumel, and many communities offer tennis and other sports facilities.

Sightseeing is also a favorite here. There is a beautiful, traditional downtown of Mexico, surrounded by many Mayan pyramid ruins and beautiful natural scenery. Those who enjoy retirement here will never get tired of the surrounding environment, and the surrounding environment is here. The atmosphere is so important. relaxation. And, of course, there are always wide beaches thousands of miles away to enjoy!
